Fun with Food
Fun with Food Junior (Ages 2 to 6) – With Parent Involvement

Our Fun with Food groups is designed for young children (ages 2-6) whose food preferences and eating habits are influenced by their disability. With parent involvement throughout the session, children are supported using evidence-based approaches to explore food in a fun and engaging way.

Each session includes age-appropriate food play, food preparation, and simple cooking activities to encourage hands-on interaction, discussion, and exploration of different foods. Therapists provide live modelling and guidance throughout the session, helping children feel more comfortable with new foods while also educating parents on strategies that can be used at home to support mealtimes.

Groups are tailored to specific age ranges to support mealtime skills that align with each child’s developmental stage. The goal is to create a safe, no-pressure environment where children can increase their exposure to a variety of foods, build food confidence, and develop mealtime skills—all while having fun!
