Mel graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology and also holds a Master of Education, both from Charles Sturt University.

 

With a background in education, Mel has worked with children aged 3-18 in mainstream and special education as a teacher, children’s librarian and in education support. Mel has also had experience working as an allied health assistant in hospital, clinic and community-based settings.

Mel’s areas of interest include early speech and language development, and literacy in school-aged children. She helps her clients achieve meaningful goals using a family-centred approach, and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
