Occupational Therapist

Flying Start Children's Therapy

Jess is a dedicated paediatric Occupational Therapist who believes that children reach their full potential when they feel happy, healthy, and safe. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic, focusing on each family’s unique needs. Jess is committed to staying current with evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes. Her goal is to create a calm, safe, and enjoyable environment where children can thrive, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for independence and happiness in their everyday lives.

Jess graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, where she developed a strong foundation in diverse practice areas. Before becoming an OT, Jess worked as a Primary School Teacher in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. In this role, she supported students in inclusive education, literacy intervention, and overall student wellbeing. Jess is passionate about fostering nurturing and inclusive learning environments, not just for students, but also by empowering teachers to create these spaces.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Jess at the beach with her dog Paddington, hiking with friends, hitting the gym, or cooking up delicious meals to share with her family!
