Playground Pals
Playground Pals is a play-based social group designed for children aged 3–5 years who may benefit from support building confidence with communication, peer interaction, imaginative play, and collaborative play experiences. Led by Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, the group provides a warm, supportive environment where children are encouraged to connect, explore, communicate, and play in ways that feel meaningful and comfortable for them.
Sessions are child-led and relationship-focused, using games, movement, sensory play, imaginative activities, crafts, and shared routines to support:

-

-

This group may suit children who:
-
Find playground or peer interactions challenging, unpredictable, or overwhelming
-

We aim to work collaboratively with families so strategies can feel practical, achievable, and supportive across everyday environments.
Playground Pals focuses on creating a safe and welcoming space where children can build confidence, relationships, communication, and play skills through enjoyable shared experiences.
