Sarah is a paediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about empowering young people to be their best selves and supporting parents to understand their children’s unique minds to maximise their relationships and home life. Sarah has over 18 years of experience working in mental health across the lifespan and paediatrics in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, early intervention programs, and private practice. She believes in the power of a supportive and safe relationship, where every part of them is accepted and celebrated, including the bits that need some more understanding and nurturing. She uses play, creative outlets and of course conversation to achieve these goals.
Sarah is passionate about working with parents, families, teachers, coaches, and community members to support the village of children they impact and runs Circle of Security- Parenting Programs, Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings and is happy to provide individual or group education and training around maximising the unique profiles of Neurodivergent young people.
Sarah is a Mental Health Endorsed OT and so can be seen under a Mental Health Care Plan. She mostly works with Autistic, ADHD and anxious little people and their parents.
